It’s not “If I’m going to College” Its “Where am I going to College!”

MET Students have resources in and out of the saddle made available to further their education beyond the traditional classroom or equestrian experience. MET is an Intercollegiate Horse Show Association Affiliate, of which our students have access to representatives from colleges, universities, corporations, and industry advisors through the IHSA comprising of more than 400 colleges and universities and close to 10,000 college students competing in equestrian competition. To date, MET students have received over $1.8 million in college scholarships.

The IHSA promotes competition for riders of all levels in hunter seat and western horsemanship and reining, who represent their colleges and universities in individual and team competition. The association was founded on the principle that any college student should have the opportunity to participate in equestrian competition regardless of financial status, gender or riding level.
